Tony was a kind, wise, thoughtful, caring gentleman and I will miss him greatly. He had a way of getting to the root of any issue and presenting it back in such a considered and fair way, which was greatly valued by me (and I am sure by all who ever had to privilege of working with him). When I started as a governor he was supportive and encouraging, and I will always admire his passion for giving children the best start in education and enabling teaching staff to do just this.
